Peter served as the chair of the US Standards Committee responsible for the development and maintenance of EDI standard for product data; he was responsible for the design, development and global promotion of the UNSPSC as an internationally recognized commodity classification and for the design of the eOTD, an internationally recognized open technical dictionary based on the NATO codification system. Peter is the project leader for ISO 8000 the new international standard for data quality and for ISO 22745 the new standard for open technical dictionaries and the exchange of characteristic data. Victor Chiasson has been Senior Data Quality Analyst in the Human Resources Branch at Industry Canada since 2009. His background includes a stint as a demographic data analyst in human resources and he held responsibility for data quality control activity in the Horticulture Unit of Statistics Canada from 2000 to 2004. Dan Hartley is Vice President, Data Governance and Management, at ConAgra Foods, Inc., and is responsible for defining and achieving the company’s data strategy and objectives. Cynthia Hartman is a 39-year veteran of The Hartford. Most of that time has been spent as a business data management professional, with time served in a variety of analytical positions in The Hartford’s statistical data reporting area, the field coding liaison area, and Personal Lines Underwriting. Her extensive work over the years on complex business projects covering a wide variety of lines of business, systems, business functions, and data issues/problems has given her a robust perspective on data at The Hartford. Prime is a privately held pharmacy benefit management company that provides pharmacy solutions for health plans, employers and their members. Prime's core services include claims processing, reporting, data analysis, and mail-service pharmacy. Eric is responsible for implementing and managing Prime's data governance and stewardship program. He has 20 years experience in information management and data governance. Craig Laufer has over 20 year of IT experience, ranging from in-house developer to consultant to testing engineer. He has spent the last four years leading a test data management initiative designed to improve productivity by automating many aspects of test data procurement. Lewandowski has over 35 years of experience in financial services in both front office and support areas spanning Retail, Commercial & Private Banking sales, product development & credit analysis within the Domestic Bank and for a Canadian-based Trust Company. Grant Robinson is a natural resource scientist working for the NSW Office of Water in the Department of Environment, Climate Change and Water in New South Wales, Australia. His experience analysing and managing natural resources information, particularly forestry and water resource data began in 1981. In 2008 he was appointed to a new role as Information Quality Coordinator for the state agency's water monitoring unit. Robinson now facilitates a continuous improvement program that focuses on measurement, data gathering and management of water resource data, underpinned by ISO9001 certification. Laura Sebastian-Coleman leads the Data Quality Architecture team at OPTUM Insight, a subsidiary of UnitedHealth Group, where she has worked since 2003. Dr. John Talburt is Professor of Information Science at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock (UALR) and Coordinator for the Information Quality Graduate Program. He is Executive Director of the UALR Center for Advanced Research in Entity Resolution and Information Quality and Associate Director of the Acxiom Laboratory for Applied Research. His areas of research are information quality and entity and identity resolution. From 1995 to 2005 he was a leader for research and development and product innovation at Acxiom Corporation.
