C. Lwanga Yonke is a seasoned information quality and information management expert and leader. He has successfully designed and implemented projects in multiple areas, including information quality, data governance, business intelligence, data warehousing and data architecture. His initial experience is in petroleum engineering and operations.

An ASQ Certified Quality Engineer, Lwanga holds an MBA from California State University and a BS degree in petroleum engineering from the University of California at Berkeley. Lwanga is a founding member of the International Association for Information and Data Quality (IAIDQ) and currently serves as an Advisor to the IAIDQ Board. He is also a member of the Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE) and a senior member of the American Society for Quality (ASQ). Additional activities include serving on the Program Committees of the 2006 and 2007 MIT International Conference on Information Quality, of the 2007 Australasian Conference on Information Quality, and serving on the Boards of several non-profit organizations.

Steve has cross-industry experience in international and domestic organizations, having been based in the UK and Germany for several years. He has led the design and implementation of technical and data architectures on complex data warehousing and data mining applications, providing straightforward solutions to business problems. He is a 'second surgery' and metadata specialist, refocusing failed Business Intelligence projects. Steve excels at unlocking information hidden within organizational data, thereby enabling visibility of trends for improved competitor position. Steve was recognized as a Technology Leader by Crain's Business Magazine. To Steve, Information Governance is a journey towards accurate data and meaningful information.
