During the course of his work, Jon has advised senior business officers at a number of global financial services firms in support of Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC) initiatives within credit risk and regulatory compliance engagements linked to FATCA, Dodd-Frank, CCAR, Basel II, Solvency II, customer deposit guarantee (FSCS) and credit risk data assurance.

Prior to his role at Trillium, Jon held senior consulting positions at both HP Consulting and Deloitte LLP, where he was the data quality lead within the Enterprise Risk practice.

Subramanian Ramakrishnan (SR) has recently re-joined Citi as the Global Chief Data Officer. Prior to accepting this role, SR worked at Oracle and led the Oracle Financial Services Analytical Application (OFSAA) business. At OFSAA, he developed their Enterprise Data and Analytics platform, which was targeted to solving key problems facing our industry including Risk, Finance and customer data aggregation, as well as Capital, Earnings and Liquidity Stress testing. SR’s work there was recognized as having established product leadership for Oracle in multiple analytics categories. His experience also included supporting Risk and Finance strategies for firms such as ING, PNC Bank, NAB, GE Capital and Standard Bank.

Prior to Oracle, SR worked at Citi, where among his many accomplishments he established the Information Management Strategy for the Global Consumer Bank (GCB), laying the foundation for GCB’s Strategic Analytics and Database Marketing capabilities. This effort led to the creation of the Global Consumer management reporting system and combined data from all consumer businesses (retail, indirect lending, cards, investments, etc.) and all functions (Risk, Finance, Marketing and Customer Management) into one data management and analytical process. 

SR has a strong understanding of the challenges faced by the Financial Services industry, including Regulatory (BASEL, FSA, Dodd-Frank, AML), Customer (new competitors, customer demographics, behaviors, social media) and Internal (organizational silos, inconsistent result drivers, quality, timeliness, cost). His experience makes him an ideal leader for Citi.

Monica C. Richter is the Senior Vice President leading the Global Data Strategy & Operations Group (DSO) at Standard & Poor’s Rating Services. She is responsible for maturing the data management capabilities, improving data quality and advancing the data governance that enables the Ratings Services business units to meet the increasing complexities of their analytical processes and the growing expectations of their clients and regulators.

Monica has been with Standard & Poor’s for a combined 19 years working first in New York and Frankfurt and more recently, in London and New York again. She recently moved to New York from London, where she had established and been managing the DSO in Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA). Before joining the DSO, Monica was a practice leader in the International Public Finance group. She had managerial responsibility for a team of analysts working on EMEA local and regional government ratings. In addition, Monica’s team was involved with the assignment of ratings to health care, housing and higher education institutions as well as public/private partnership financings. 

Monica holds a bachelor of arts degree in Mathematics from Wellesley College and a master of business administration degree in Strategic Management from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
