He is currently a member of the Financial Stability Board's LEI Advisory Panel; the CFTC's Data Standardization Subcommittee; ISO TC68/SC4 and ANSI/X9D. He is involved with many organizations, provides strategic advice to members and is a frequent speaker on a range of issues associated with data management. Mike has been the Managing Director of the EDM Council since February 2006.

Xiu McGovern is the Data Quality Management and Governance Executive for Bank of America's Consumer Banking division. In this role, she is responsible for data quality, metadata, lineage and data controls as well as data governance functions for the Customer, Deposits, Mortgage, Card, and Payments domains. Xiu leverages a four-pillar strategy designed to measure, mitigate, control and simplify the data environment. She executes using a risk based approach focused on key business elements and prioritized systems and applications. Her goal is to ensure the Consumer Bank meets or exceeds the enterprise data management policy and standards thus driving financial benefit, improving customer satisfaction and reducing regulatory risk.

Prior to her current role, Xiu was the Analytics Operations Executive for the Customer Segments and Deposits organizations. Her responsibility was focused on optimizing the existing data environment and building new capabilities. She built business intelligence tools that promoted self-service reporting and analytics, and provided new customer and house-hold oriented views of data to facilitate strategy development.

Xiu joined Bank of America in July 2007 as the Small Business Segment Analytics Executive. Prior to joining the bank, Xiu worked internationally and domestically for General Electric in the Consumer Finance and Banking division for 13 years. At GE, Xiu held various roles in Finance, Quality, Project Management, and Pricing and Product Management.

Xiu graduated from Wesleyan University in Middletown, CT with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and East Asian Studies. Xiu is also a graduate of GE's Financial Management Program and is a certified Six Sigma Master Black Belt.

Arka Mukherjee, the founder and CEO of Global IDs Inc., is a well-known expert in global data management, with extensive experience in creating new technologies to assist businesses in the U.S. and around the world.

Arka founded Global IDs (GIDs) in 2001. Under his leadership, the company has developed Master Data Management and Data Governance products and solutions for a myriad of Fortune 2000 companies across multiple vertical industries. Arka was the lead architect in developing GIDs semantic solutions to help companies save time and money, while also offering better data traceability to help customers reduce risk.

Prior to GIDs, he was the principal of IBM Global Services where he was the practice leader in business intelligence services and was responsible for building and growing this e-business practice. Before IBM, he was a senior manager at Andersen Consulting (currently Accenture) and was a practice leader in implementing enterprise-wide technology architectures. Arka has had several papers published in trade magazines and research journals and is a regular speaker at trade shows and expositions. He received a Ph.D. in Computational Chemistry from Princeton University.

Mr. Nicosia joined TIAA-CREF in November 2004 and is currently responsible for establishing a business led data and process governance function within the Finance & Actuarial (F&A) area. In addition to data and process governance activities, Mr. Nicosia is currently leading a large scale transformation program focused on strengthening and automating critical Finance business processes, improving data quality and integration and upgrading Finance's underlying technology/infrastructure. He is also an active member of the company's Enterprise Data Governance council.

Prior to joining TIAA-CREF, Mr. Nicosia worked as a Managing Consultant for The Amherst Group Limited, a consulting firm focused on design and implementation of Shared Services organizations. In this capacity, he worked with Fortune 100 clients on organizational effectiveness and re-design projects as well as detailed evaluations of service delivery process efficiency and effectiveness.

Bill Wagner is the Consumer Bank Data Management Executive. In this role, he is responsible for data management strategy and execution for the businesses that provide individual customers with deposit, card, home loan, and small business banking products and services.

Bill leverages a close relationship with technology and business partners to design, build, operate a comprehensive business value driven data management program - including approved sourcing, data quality measurement, data remediation, and data risk mitigation.

Prior to his current assignment, Bill was the Analysis Information Management Executive, leading business intelligence, analytics, and modeling efforts for Global Card Services and Technology Executive for the Customer Risk Solutions Program, responsible for managing a broad suite of enterprise risk initiatives.
