Understanding the Operational Data Store

For all of the advantages of a data warehouse, there are some disadvantages and limitations that must be addressed by another architectural entity - the Operational Data Store (ODS). This seminar introduces the concept of the ODS, its purpose, major differences and similarities to the data warehouse, and so on. With the knowledge gained from this seminar, attendees will be able to determine the need for the ODS and will gain an understanding of how to implement one into their IT environment.
